New Moon in Virgo, Pluto retrogrades back to Capricorn until Nov 16 | Month 8 + Year 8 | Saturn and Neptune conjunction

Astrologically, we have aspects that are guiding us towards reflection on growth, contributions to the greater good, and manifestation of your greatest desires. We have the energy to achieve our goals, propelling us in a forward motion, and strength to take bold actions toward our most ambitious goals. Ask the big questions, ‘why am I here, what do I truly want?’ This is the time to rise up and step into our power.

We have Pluto retrograding back into Capricorn once again, asking us to close out what we have been working  through since 2008 and step into our transformative power. On Nov. 16th, Pluto will go direct into Aquarius, and never in our lifetimes will we experience Pluto in Capricorn again. 

New Moon in Virgo – a new path is upon us if we are open to receiving: Virgo, represented by fields of grain, connected to Ceres is the sign of abundance, prosperity, self love, and how we contribute to the world around us. How do we self nourish? What do we need to reflect on within ourselves ( thoughts, habits, daily rituals) to awaken a fresh start? How do we feel responsible for the world around us? 

As conscious Entrepreneurs, the dance between the desire and obligation to nourish ourselves first to meet the demands to build a business requires discipline. You have been called to create something that invites responsibility to leave a meaningful impact on our beautiful world.  I deeply believe entrepreneurs building businesses that is authentically on a mission to elevates consciousness and leave a the world a better place will have lasting power for greatness that will reach the collective beyond what you may think you can.

Where we are today, we continue to navigate a monumental transitional period — a tipping point will come and those who are positioned well, will thrive.  This is the time to dig deep and with a fine tooth comb focus on your customers, community, and your platform. 

Within the beauty and wellness industry, we continue to see shifts as we begin the 2nd half of 2024. Circana reports the upcoming holiday season to be positive for the prestige beauty category, yet softer than previous years. Ulta Beauty’s earning calls reports Q2 missed its results across the board losing market share in prestige beauty. Yet, Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway’s recent purchase of 690,106 shares in Ulta Beauty is a stamp of approval indicating opportunities are still available in the beauty industry.

How does this relate to your business? What you are building is meaningful. And thus, it is even more important to know how to pivot and seek out opportunities that are available to you to grow your community, customer base, and increase revenue despite a period of uncertainty and a soft 2nd half of 2024.

One thing is for certain, the playbook and roadmap that brands have used to garner success over the past 5-10, past 3 years are no longer viable. The landscape and the market has drastically changed. Consumer behaviour has changed, as has cultural behavior. 

What will lead to success? Fundamentally, how well do you know your customers and community? Do you know your target market? How has it shifted? Know them so well,  you can recreate them as the avatar of your business 

- and from there, knowing how you deliver value without compromising your brand equity and how you are communicating in the most authentic way at each touchpoint of your customers purchasing journey. Embody and consistently question, grow, nurture, and refine. What counts: Authenticity. Brand Equity. Community. 

Ask rich and meaningful questions: ask lots of difficult whys and hows —- why is my community not growing? Why am I not hitting my sales targets? How did I hit my sales targets? Why is my platform not reaching more people? Have we hit a plateau? How are we nurturing our community? Our customers? Our retail partners? How can we add more value to our customers, retail partners, community, Etc. Ask your trusted advisor and mentors to give your business a hard assessment.

Lastly, listen and empower through acknowledging everyone is going through something similar or something we have no clue about. Lean into being kind, compassionate, and elevate consciousness for ourselves first and for others — weave this into your strategic efforts for the business you are building, and that will set you apart.
